Emerald pipes connect to other extraction pipes.

5.0.x is pretty much in baseline mode now. It's OK to push some critical fixes there, but I'd say that the general rule should be to push everything in 6.0.x at this stage, except crash reports made on 5.0.x.

Looks like the 6.0.x branch is the default branch. Should we push to that instead? Doesn't feel natural to be merging from 6.0.x to 5.0.x though.
