Redstone engines don't seem to explode

I've left the redstone engines running while connected to nothing for a very long while and they haven't yet exploded.

I think they didn't since BC 3 or 4.

Hmm, you seem to be correct. http://minecraftbuildcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Redstone_Engine/Buildcraft3 Redstone engines are meant to not explode, even when not hooked up to anything.

Why should redstone engines explode? They never did.

@psxlover they did explode, but only if they couldn't output there power
