Crash with creative engine, wrench and emerald kinesis pipe

This is an odd one. I placed an emerald kinesis pipe and a creative engine next to it, then held shift and changed the power output. I crashed. But when I place the engine first, it doesn't seem to crash. I have tried 5 times and it has been inconsistent in crashes, so it is a little tricky to reproduce.

Yep. It's the dreaded "need Java 7" bug

update: Seems it has something to do with the emerald kinesis pipe. In testing and on the log
