Not really a bug, if there is any way to easily suggest stuff then tell me.
I know quarry has its own chunk loader but pumps mining well and such don't have any.

for pumps it would be maybe kinda usefull but miningwells do not really need them because you do only need 1 block. in x and z coords and not more than 1 chunk

I always hated chunk loaders, to the point of working on ways to remove the chunkloading requirement from quarries. Use an addon mod, I recommend RailCraft or Dimensional Anchors.
