Refinery only fills 1 side with oil

setup:
Tank (filled with oil) -> wooden pipe [redstone engine powered] -> refinery -> wooden pipe[redstone engine powered] -> tank [for fuel].
no matter the orientation of the refinery or from which side it is filled, Only one (facing the front of the refinery, the right side) of the oil tanks will fill.
