Not so much an issue, but a request: can someone show me their setup of the Heat Exchanger in game? I cannot seem to get mine to work

I set it up according to this imgur link: http://imgur.com/a/AXUOX
I put Heavy Oil (Cool) in its place and Lava in the other. I put a lever down but nothing happened.
