Every single pipe in buildcraft is invisible, including there item textures and a few other blocks and items like engines.

Buildcraft version: 7.99.8.1 version 1.11.2
Forge version: 13.20.1.2513 version 1.11.2
no crash.

As you can see this is a daizuli pipe, but it' invisible, like all the other pipes including a few items. Unlike other cases I read, the texture seems to be missing on the actual item in your inventory too

here you see a wooden pipe extracting 64 grass blocks from a chest into two more cobblestone pipes leading to a dispenser using a creative engine. what is odd about the creative engine is that the item's texture doesn't show up, yet the block texture does. this is the same will all the engines

So, how do we fix it without sacrificing optifine, AA, or AF?

commented

I tested it without optifine. the pipes now show. let me try another version.

commented

it appears that optifine is the problem.

commented

This might be the same as #3894, but happening in 1.11.2 rather than 1.12.2. Can you upload your client log file to see if that's the case?

Either way, I'll look into adding the config option to 7.99.8.3, to see if that might help.

commented

Try OptiFine HD_U_C7, I'm using it on 1.12.2 and have no issues with pipe rendering.

commented

My pipes are also not showing in 1.12.2 with optifine C8 and BuildCraft 7.99.14.

commented

@ddowdy21 for 1.12 check #3894 , it's an incompatibility betwen BC and optifine, try using the config or removing optifine

commented

Now that is weird! I would bet some other mod is interfering. Which mods do you have?

commented

Turn of Anti-aliasing.

commented

As @Bandi42Plays said above, turning off AA solves the problem. It is good at one end, and we know that the problem is in AA module of opti_wrong_.

commented

hello, having same problem here, and AA is off

hello, having same problem here, and AA is off

Uninstalling Optifine seems to fix the issue

commented

For me it's not the only AA but paired with anisotrophic filtering.
Disabling those two solves the problem

commented

actually the anisotropic filtering and the antialinsing make the tubes infidelable as much as the other gives this problem

commented

I don't know if someone is still having this problem but it seems that the Anisotropic Filtering is causing the issue, so turn that off and it should work
