If you don't know how it goes together it can be a nightmare to debug when using the wrench to rotate it. Perhaps the texture should have a dark patch on one side so that you can check to make sure everything lines up?

Could the multi-block structure take a look at what pipes surround it and try to make an educated decision on how it gets formed?
