Pump tube blocks retract and extend every time the pump changes y levels

Singleplayer or multiplayer: singleplayer, haven't tested multiplayer
Steps to reproduce: Place down or find a column of fluid (like an oil spout for example), and try to pump it up with the pump. Every time the pump goes down a y level, the tubes will retract and extend back down.
