Opening engine's interface causes crash, cannot rotate engine with wrench

BuildCraft version: buildcraft-all-7.99.24.1.jar
Forge version: 1.12.2-14.23.5.2838

Steps to reproduce: place an engine, right click on it.
Additional information: tried with and without optifine, both crashes. It's FTB Revelation modpack with TreeCapitator. Using wrench on a engine plays a sound, but doesn't change his direction.
