It seems to appear in almost every 1.12.2 version of buildcraft.

It happen when a pump is placed and is working with a fluid. Instantly, in various chunks, the inventory and the minimap get bugged.

It makes the game very difficult because it blocks the minimap. Looks like the bug is in buildcraft because it is only with the pump.

The items get randomly lighted in the inventory, as you can see in the image.

It also happens in singleplayer

This is an Optifine bug.

I also have this problem, make sure fast render from optifine is off
