Backport FTB Claim Bypass Fix to 1.20.1

Is there any word on if and when a back port would be available for the claim bypass issues? I noted that it is fixed in newer versions available for 1.21.*
IDK if he will even do it #118
Funny thing is all the methods to check for permissions are there. They are just not used from what I can read. :(
