The "Connected Area" function of Plane Mode of Building Gadget is not working

1.0.6, Playing Prominence Classic modpack v1.8.5

Describe the bug
When I enable "Connected Area", it still fills non-connected area on the same level.

To Reproduce

  1. Select "Plane" mode
  2. Enable "Connected Area"
  3. Place blocks

Expected behavior
It should only fill connected area.
