For the best performance it is recommended to use C2ME with Lithium and Starlight.

No Sodium? Why?
How big can the performance gain be? 5 FPS? 25 FPS?

Sodium is client side. They were likely referring to server side performance, as I believe C2ME is server side.

Lithium and Starlight both allow C2ME to have more impact in chunk gen, which is the main focus.
