Checklist
- I am using the official version of the mod.
- I tried the latest development version but the issue persists.
- I searched for similar open issues and could not find an existing bug report on this.
A funny thing is: it spends this additional time doing absolutely nothing. It just waits for something, as indicated by a steady 300 FPS on the saving world screen. No log messages, nothing, only a 5-minute wait before the world actually starts saving. At least it seems this way.
Ishland has worked quite some on fixing it since the issue was created, and the impact to world save times is miniscule in latest dev.
likewise, though I did notice somethin' - lowering the render distance to something like 12 before exiting seems to fix it?
same for me. without C2ME saving world takes 6 secs, with C2ME takes ~~25% of time 6 secs and ~~75% of time 2-3 mins. :c
I've also started to experience this issue where I didn't before after I think updating a little while ago, it now takes at least 3 minutes where before it took me only I think 10 seconds.
Yes, it has been addressed in new C2ME builds, so you can use those and the problem is resolved.
