Missing/spontaneous replacement of chunks in nether

Describe the bug

Game for >~150 days in hardcore. With girl.
Previously, there was no such problem, both in the ordinary world and in Nether. But this problem began extremely strange, unexpectedly, and at first I did not understand anything.
We built a railway from point A to point B (about 1000 blocks in total, in nether).
I play with Geforce Experiance enabled (for 1 minute) and I managed to fix the loss/replacement of chunks in full.
Any patterns - I could not fix. At first, as I could see, the chunk with the PORTAL at point B (final) was replaced, before that I went 400-500 blocks to the side in order to gain experience, returned by digging a tunnel, guided by the JourneyMAP mod, dipped to the portal and seemed to get nothing usual, but it has shifted a few chunks to the side and length.
After that, it happened AGAIN.
The total number of replaced chunks (~30).
The last straw was how brazenly and a large number of chunks disappeared or moved almost before my eyes.
There is absolutely no information about this on the Internet, there are similar ones, but not my case.
I looked at the information in the logs, at the moment when it all happened.
Video of the moment and logs:

First, as I said, I saw live how I changed the place of the chunk with the portal. After that, the chunks began to DUPLICATE (in the screenshot there is a line in the middle and 3 branches from it), after that I again wanted to ride the railroad (on the map to the left) and I just had the railroad chunks moved down (if you look at the map)

Also, in the game logs at these moments, the game could not find (damaged) AND / OR there was something with the GAST model (or its fireball) (ghast_shooting.png), as well as some obscure blocks (crumbly stone and crumbly_stone. crumbly_stone_walk)

Provide these lines?

Also, it may help in solving the problem:
Before seeing the loss of chunks, I had minor sagging of the WHOLE PC (that is, I had a discord, a game, a minecraft) for a few seconds. (At that moment, a white strip of 5-10 cm appeared on the monitor on 1ms) (and after, all the mobs, my girlfriend froze on my screen, but she ran building, and then delayed and everything accelerated and as if there was nothing)
in the task manager, the disk: C (Windows) (SSD M2) was loaded at 100% for a couple of seconds and departed, which caused such jumps in disk loading and why - I did not figure it out, but it seemed to be fixed.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Do something
  2. See error
I don’t understand how to reproduce this error, alas, I can’t help to cause it.

Expected behavior

Stable work mod, chunks.

  • I tried the latest development version but the issue persists.
  • I searched for similar open issues and could not find an existing bug report on this.

Additional context

After PROBABLY fixing the problem with 100% disk load for a few seconds - I went to hell, carefully checking for replaced chunks.
Freezes / lags - did not find.
Replacement of chunks - did not find.

How can you restore chunks in hell and hell itself?

No unfortunately.
This is what i have found so far on mojangs bug tracker. Hopefully this would help.

How to prevent such incidents?

Take frequent monitoring of your disk with tools like CrystalDiskInfo.

I would suspect a disk issue here.

Try making a copy of the world and play on the copy and see if chunks are getting relocated again.

Since publication, I have been playing in the world, this problem, after a POSSIBLE fix disk - has not yet been found

CrystalDiskInfo has 96% disk status and everything is fine. There is no crit. errors - nothing.

Still monitor your disk for some IO errors. When IO error happens things can get corrupted.
