Describe the bug
Petting any bird from the Naturalist mod using the Pettable mod causes an error that kicks me from my world. I am raising the issue here as it stops happening when i disable C2ME, and both other mods involved have much less responsive authors.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Spawn bird
2. Pet
3. Crash

Expected behavior
The bird should be petted

Runtime info (please complete the following information):

• OS: Windows 11
• Minecraft version: Fabric 1.20.1
• Mod version: 0.2.0+alpha.11.13 devbuild for 1.20.1
