Shift right-clicking cake places block but shows crumbs/plays eating noise

- Cake Chomps: forge-1.16.4-5.0.0.2
- Forge/Fabric: 1.16.5 - 36.2.2
Observed Behavior: I place the block, the eating noise plays, and cake crumbs appear on screen (though I don't gain hunger and the cake isn't eaten)
Expected Behavior: I can place the block without the crumbs/noise
Steps to Reproduce:
- place cake
- shift right-click cake with block
Crash Log: I'm not sure if this is necessary. Lmk
