version 2.0.0 for neoforge 21.1.120 mincraft 1.21.1 crashes and says "saving world" for both in game and main menu when trying to open the config via the mod menu. also i read that 2.0.0 was supposed to have compat with do a barrel roll, which doesn't seem to work correctly at all.

Fixed in 863eaf4 and 2.0.2 respectively, though forgot to note that in the changelog.
