It's a long shot, but, it would technically be a tweak to minecarts and thus work under the umbrella of the mod, so, I'll just put it out there anyways, but perhaps there would be a way to make it so that the cart does not accidentally pick up mobs such as villagers, chickens, etc. I don't know if it would be possible to make them only enterable by right clicking it, but, it would be a nice quality of life feature if it were possible and you felt like doing it.
