CB confuses villagers/animals

After working on a new village for my villagers, I have found that Wedge Slopes and Barriers make the villagers and mobs act strangely. Their pathing seems to be broken, as if the Barrier doesn't work like a vanilla fence, and slope blocks seem to confuse them.

When night time comes, the villagers normally pile into the closest house, but now they run into a section of fence connected to a house and "get stuck" because their pathing tells them there is a way through the fence. They just stand there jumping repeatedly. This has happened to villagers, iron golems, pigs, sheep, and pretty much any other mob I have come across.

Is there something that can be done here to have these blocks properly report to the pathing AI as fences and normal blocks, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Sorry, I just read the FAQ part about NPCs. I suppose I could try Forge Microblocks for fences, but I really like this mod and very comfortable with using it. It's a shame, CB has a really nice aesthetic.

Every time I've looked into this behavior or read about other people attempting to fix it, it becomes a very involved process since vanilla is mostly hard-coded to treat wooden and iron doors as actual doors. Gates are probably the same thing.

Understandable. I tried Forge Microblock fences, had the same problem. I think they see the mod fences as a 1m block, and not the 1.5m like vanilla fences are, so they try to repeatedly jump over it. Very odd behavior.

Feel free to close this ticket and thanks again. :)
