a couple feature ideas

I was goofing around today (discovered you can put the pressure plates on the ceiling, now you have to jump to open the door! Awesome!)
Anyway, I was also messing around the garage door. I had one hanging down from a high roof and it suddenly occurred to me that if it combined features with a ladder it would make for a pretty neat pull up ladder for tree forts!
I was also wondering if it would be possible to add a feature to garage doors that let you decouple one from the one next to it, so you could pull it up piece by piece, for a slow reveal... and maybe a way to slow how quickly they go up by adding 'inverted redstone' or some ingredient (or based on the strength of the signal). On my last world I built a display case for my animals where they got golden lassoed by an autonomous activator deployed each animal onto a conveyor belt. They went across the 'stage' and then got sucked back up into the system. (we were playing with the hat mod). That got me thinking about using garage doors as curtains. (Also had a two block thick wall that you could walk down the middle of thanks to the vertical planks!)
How about a carpenters' bridge? It would work like the garage door only horizontally. I know that could be used in dungeons, but I'm thinking more for drawbridges and such. (I know there are other mods that have drawbridges.)
And maybe, for the buttons and pressure plates adding redstone/something opposite of redstone (lead dust? not in all modpacks) to speed up or slow down how long they pulse. That would let people put their buttons a little farther from doors.
Lots of other ideas, but I don't want to get too silly. No carpenters' cow today. (You'd pick the liquid you wanted it to dispense instead of milk, and be able to retexture it!) Just kidding.
Great mod.
Thanks,
Nate
PS, now I want a carpenters' cow.... :(
