Hello and thank you for creating this awesome mod!
I've been having issues with Garage Doors recently.
We're running the following version of Carpenters Blocks: v3.3.8_dev_r8
We run the modpack Tekkit Legends
We run on Thermos.
Whenever someone will go near one of these corrupted chunks, their client will crash and this will be the crash log:

The lines in question were removed as of 3.3.8 dev r6, are you certain you are running the latest development version?

commented

Yes, I'm certain. Could you link me the commit where you deleted those lines?

Anything on the issue?

As you can see it was replaced a few versions back. That's why I strongly believe your jars are outdated.

Very odd, I can confirm that I'm using the latest Dev. If you want, you can hop on my server and test it out yourself.

This post is irrelevant....the crash report shows you are using version 3.3.7

Line 2125 UCHIJA CarpentersBlocks{3.3.7} [Carpenter's Blocks](Carpenter's Blocks v3.3.7 - MC 1.7.10.jar)

You are not on the latest development version =P

side note: I was here to report his issue as well but I can see it has already been fixed, you might want to leave this issue open for the benefit of others however because Infinity Skyblock is using the old version and is crashing whenever anyone puts the garage doors over the void =\ we disabled them on our server in the config and the problem seems to have gone away.

Check or paste your full log to verify which version of the mod it is loading. Is it a server crash or just a client crash?

commented

I actually am on the latest version @BlackAce21 I modified the version number inside the jar to work for my clients on the Tekkit Legends modpack.

@Mineshopper Only the clients will crash when entering near one.

Edit: I will download the latest dev build from the website now and change the version to work on my server again. Just to be sure and test =) Will keep you posted.

Perhaps the launcher you are using is replacing the file since you are making a change? It sounds like you are trying to circumvent some kind of version check.

Issue seems resolved after recompiling newest version.
Sorry for wasting your time!
