Suggestion: Carpenters belt to limit interaction.

I really love carpenters blocks, but when I build a house out of them I can't really function normally. Right clicking to open bags will not work if I am looking at a carpenter block, placing blocks always makes them into panels, and some blocks cannot even be placed while sneaking to prevent them from becoming panel.
There needs to be a way to say "I am done changing things, it is as I want it and I will just be living in this space normally now"
My solution suggestion for this is simple, either a "Carpenter's belt" that you wear when you want to interact with carpenters blocks, and when you take it off you no longer interact with carpenters blocks, so you can function in your house as normal.
If you don't like the idea of the carpenter's belt I also though that not having carpenters blocks or tools on your person could be the trigger that stops interaction with carpenters blocks.
I second this as trying to open ender bags or AE2, chisel, travel anchors, or a host of other tools, looking at a carpenter's block takes priority and nothing works until you look at air or regular blocks. The belt would be great, or the functionality with the hammer on your hotbar.
I never got around to this. Currently all my efforts are going into a 1.10.2 port, which has already taken a massive amount of effort. Once it is released and stable, I can take another look at implementing new features.
Maybe this could also function as a toolbelt. Somewhere to store your tools so they don't fill up your inventory.
