Suggestion: Half-height Wedge Slope

The Wedge Slope is a great building block, but feels too steep sometimes. You don't really need a 45° pitched roof in the middle of a jungle with no snow load.

The idea is simple: just take the Wedge Slope block, and make it half height so it lines up with the height of a slab. This would result in a 22.5° angle, and make halfslab buildings much easier.

Just use the collapsible block -- it will have identical function and lighting as a slope. The only thing it won't do is the "smooth collisions," so walking over it will have the effect of small stairs.

Sure, using the collapsible block is ok - as long as I don't have to use more than two of them. Using the hammer to deform them is time consuming and prone to annoying one-off errors that make me start over. Unless there's a way to quickly replicate one "master" deformed block, it's useless for anything bigger than a 3x3 front porch.

You should be able to hold the block and use shift-scrollwheel to pick the block shape. Or scrollwheel, I forget.
