I was running 3.3.8 r3 when I placed down a pressure plate in front of an Iron door and ran through it when my game lagged from 150+ fps down to ~15. I walked through and thought there was a hiccup in MC, so I placed the second one behind the door and ran through. Again, my game lagged down to a grind. I placed both on Player only mode with the hammer and nothing changed. I then checked if there was an update, so I updated to the latest which is r9 for the time being. This didn't change the lag when walking over pressure plates.

Not sure what is going on. I have a pretty beefy system and run ~190 mods with very little trouble. This has never happened to me in the past, and it's been about 4 months since I last played and I remember these pressure plates being the go-to.

I wasn't able to reproduce the lag. My only guess is another mod is performing work that intensifies while you're walking over the pressure plate. Your best bet might be to swap out groups of mods to see if the issue disappears. If a problematic mod can be found then I can take a closer look.

Ya know, I may have spoke too soon here. Today when I decided to start a creative world and test things out, there was honestly no problem. It must be something with my world because whenever I pour anything from a Tinker's smeltery, the game lags terribly. Sorry about that!
