So, Minecraft 1.7.2 has a nasty texture rendering bug that isn't getting fixed via Forge. And I really want a non-glitchy bed, so hey, why not use a Carpenter's Block bed instead? I sleep in it just fine.... but my spawn isn't being set. So when I die, I go back to the world spawn instead of my base. This is kind of a serious issue!

Interesting. I haven't a clue how it saves spawn location though.

I... will have a go at fixing this. I'll get back to you later today with either a pull request or a white flag of surrender :)

@Techokami This is fixed in the 1.7.10 branch, if I go to sleep and then die later on, I respawn at my carpenter's bed. I guess it just wasn't in 1.7.2 😖

@Mineshopper Could you please close this if you aren't working on 1.7.2 any more?

I'm fine closing this since it's a vanilla/Forge bug, I just wasn't sure. I am currently pushing changes to 1.6.4, 1.7.2, and master, so if a change is made to master, I'll just have to backport it unless it's done for me.
