When I put concrete on the ladder and try to climb it I get pushed away from the ladder (using the latest Crackpack)... hope you can recreate that bug

Will look into it. I don't remember covers affecting block collision but the code may still be there.

Looking at the code, this is an issue for Chisel, pokefan assumes that if a player is attempting to input a forward motion they mean to go in a lateral direction. So they only increase your velocity on the lateral plane and since your speed is so slow the math causes you to accelerate ridiculously fast off the ladder

It turns out cover collision code is still present, but I wouldn't consider this a bug. The concrete block increases player velocity, and I can only guess that increasing it vertically won't work, so it sends you backwards.
