If you need it ASAP before its merged, there're builds available on the 1.21 fork voidpointer0x00@carpet-extra/releases, I tested modified code gradually with releases, there were no noticable changes in the latests release though.

That said, the other untouched features were not tested, therefore something could potentially break — I'm assuming it works as nothing has changed code-wise and there were no compile errors 😄 (don't have the time to do a comprehensive test of all the features yet).
