Since you can edit the push limit, I think it'd be a good idea to let you set an alert threshold. Whenever a piston moves more than 12 blocks, for instance, it'd output something in chat (including the coordinates of the piston, preferrably)

not sure how that would be useful. That would cause massive spam in chat in any decent contraption.

if you want to test a contraption but are sure it would work if there was no push limit and dont want it to break if you are over the push limit, this could be useful

I don't think its something that lots of people would use, so will transfer request to carpet-extra

Could you better describe how you would imagine this feature to work? Could you note down all the information you would want it to give?
