What's the bug about? Why do you want it fixed?
Sleeping and waking up used to instantly show the daytime sky. Now, there is a noticeable delay in setting the sky. It is possible that this is a client-server desync, and it was broken somewhere in between 1.2.5 and 1.3.1, probably in 12w18a

Sleeping and waking up should instantly turn the nighttime sky into day.
