I had set commandplayer to the default rule true. However, when the server restarted, I watched as true became ops, which caused me to have to modify it every time I restarted the server. Strangely enough, the other options are not found to change back to the pre-change configuration at the moment

Did you click the "change permanently" button? If you did, is there any error in the logs?

check your carpet conf. Nothing changed specifically about that setting over version change
