(1.18.2) Crashes when used with mod Snow! Real Magic!

MC crashes whenever I try to create / load a world when using this mod and Snow! Real Magic! ("carpetRule" is null).

Recreate:
Make a 1.18.2 fabric instance on curseforge
Add Carpet, CarpetGamerules, and Snow! Real Magic!
Create / load a world

Are you sure you use the latest mod version (v1.2.1)? I thought fixed that already

This is on 1.18.2. I've tried v1.2.1 but it didn't work

Oh sorry, missed that. Is there any reason for why you still play 1.18? I usually only do releases for the latest mc version
