Error during ModConfigEvent$Loading event

This is my first time using this mod and I've been getting this error. Originally I had several other mods installed along side it and thought that could be causing an error, but now this is the only one in my mods folder so I don't think that is an issue. I know this is technically an alpha build but there are 39k+ downloads on just curseforge which means most people probably aren't having this issue.
All I did was put the cc-tweaked-1.21-forge-1.111.1.jar file I downloaded from curseforge (I also tested the one from modrinth and I had the same issue) in my mods folder, ran neoforge, and this error came up.
