Wolf Armor & Storage does not accept these chests when adding them to wolves - it seems to only want the vanilla chest. The simplest solution would be a way to convert an oak wood chest (or any ore:chestWood even) into a vanilla chest. I'm having to do this with crafttweaker at the moment. Alternatively, that mod does have its own API for other mods to add chests so that's an option as well.
