Clientside code on the server - java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: santa/ping/PingSound

If it isn't needed by the server, set it as a clientside mod so Forge doesn't load it on a dedicated server?

I mean this error still exists on the 1.12 version. The mod is still loaded on servers thus causing it to crash

what version are you using? the 1.12 version is the 1.9 version, which has this issue fixed.
