Why is mod menu a requirement?

I prefer editing the config file directly, mod menu adds unnecessary overhead.

i can make it not required, but for most people it simplifies config usage for novice modded-Minecraft players. i could try and look into this but atm it's very low priority.

i apologize, i was under the impression YACL required mod menu too. i'll just switch it to recommended.

It's just I don't think I've ever seen a mod require this. What if someone is using a custom mod menu as well?
