Right now I think we load a chunk when we update a board, but I haven't tested what goes on with that. Probably a super-good idea to test for that, at least manually. Tracking versioning without loading boards is possible would be a pain, I think. Specifically, I think the effort of maintaining the synchronization would exceed the digital cost of people potentially loading another chunk while they play with quantum boards, for all time.
