[Bug]: Lighting

Bug Description
Chipped blocks, or at the very least dark oak plank variants and cherry logs, let light through from the surface going as far down to y level
-59
How to Reproduce?
Download SteamPunk [LPS] modpack
Make and enter a world
Build something with a floor of wickered/detailed dark oak planks and roof of edge cut cherry logs
Possibly have to unload the area
Expected Behavior
Light is stopped by the blocks and does not enter the building below, and does not manage to go through the entire world regardless of blocks
Version
3.0.7
Mod Loader Version
1.20.1 - 1.273.0-23692
Mod Loader
Forge
Logs or additional context
Additional testing shows a few things:
1: The bug still exists when the block is destroyed and replaced
2: The bug exists with only nailed cherry logs as part of the roof
3: The nailed cherry logs are pushing a light level of 13 down into the caves rather than the light level below the logs
4: Standing where light level 15 is emitted causes the minimap to believe it is on the surface rather than y-59
5: Dying in the area where the bug is fixes it for a temporary period of time
6: Breaking the block causing the bug and replacing it, then updating the blocks removes the light
7: The bug requires block updates to take place to form
8: Reloading the world causes the bug to disappear until the chunks are unloaded and reloaded, where the lowest point will have the bug without updating the blocks, upper caves need to have a single update and then the bug in the updated spot will go through all y levels as far as I can tell
Could possibly be a mod conflict, but I don't know enough about modding to figure out what could possibly be causing that aside from it's connected to chipped
The first screenshot is of a mine just below my house, and the hole in the screenshot is a one block high hole
The second screenshot is of a mine at y level -59, just above bedrock, with the same light bug just after me reloading the chunks
