Tested this twice:
1st: Tried to chisel 64 cobble when the chisel was about to break; crash happened.
2nd: Chiseled 32 blocks separately, then tried to chisel the rest; crash happened.

I believe I have narrowed down this issue more precisely; my friend was having this, and it only happened to him when he was shift-left-clicking the output to automatically place it into his inventory afterwards.
He was using an iron chisel that had very little durability left at the time if it matters; simply left-clicking the output without any modifier keys resulted in the chisel breaking itself properly after having chiseled everything it could in the stack and then ejecting everything into the world.

Also confirmed that this only happens with an Iron Chisel; the Diamond Chisel works fine.
I'm thinking this will be fixed by 2de772f but I need to port it forward to check
@Endgineer Just to confirm, at 0.1.0.23 it does the same, but this time i crashed with the Diamond Chisel. Not sure if it is fixed. I will try it at 0.1.1.24
