Tested with just C&B and fabric API
Images explain it pretty easily i believe.
Make a pattern of a full block.
Place it in the printer.
Remove all but one bit from the bag.
Deposit the bag in the storage.
Block gets printed.
Only used a single bit to make a new full block.

In my case it was in a attempt to move a block that could not be moved otherwise (budding in a modpack), but i tested with a diamond block and it works. After printing, you place the block and break again and it revers to the vanilla.
