I'm using the modpack Valhelsia: Enhanced Vanilla (which includes Indium) on version 1.18.2, and chisels and bits for fabric

I can place bits regularly, but when i leave and rejoin the server, they're invisible. When I look at them I still see the black outline around them so I know they're still there, just not showing up.

They reappear when i break and replace them, mine blocks around them, or place blocks around them, but I'm not sure how to fully solve the issue since they'll disappear again if I leave
