Suggestion: Rename chisel designs

Hi there,

Quick suggestion: I think the names "Positive Chisel Design" and "Negative Chisel Design" are somewhat confusing for new users. I didn't understand them myself until I read the FAQ several times and then spent some time using them. (Naming is one of the Hard Things, so this is not a complaint. ;)

I think they would be easier to understand if they had names like:

  • Positive Chisel Design -> Block Pattern. This would be called a "block" pattern because it affects the entire block, both shape and material, and allows the placement of new blocks.
  • Negative Chisel Design -> Shape Pattern. This would be called a "shape" pattern because it only affects the shape, and does not change material or allow placement of new blocks.

Note as well that this changes "Design" to "Pattern," which seems more descriptive. If one player says something about "design" to another player, that could easily be taken as referring to the general design of the structure rather than as a technical term for this mod.

Another reason the existing names seem confusing is that the "negative" design actually creates positive space rather than negative space. A block starts with 100% negative space, and chiseling away pieces creates positive space. (Admittedly, this may simply be because my first serious exposure to 3D modeling was using negative space-based software, so the terms have somewhat different meanings to me.)

An alternative would be to remove the Negative designs altogether and add their functionality as a mode on Positive designs. IIUC, it would essentially be a without-material version of the Replace mode, so perhaps it could be called "Replace Shape". This might be the best option, as it would substantially simplify the UI.

For the Mirror designs, I don't think they necessarily need to be renamed, but it might be good if they were folded into the positive designs also. If there were simply a "Mirror" button that mirrored the current pattern across the face currently facing the user, it would be similar to the existing Mirror designs, but without requiring the user to switch between patterns several times to get the job done.

Thanks for your consideration.

And thank you so much for making this mod! I've been playing Minecraft off-and-on for a few years, but I only recently started trying mods, and this has got to be the most amazing mod there is. I'm very impressed with the implementation as well. I can only imagine the complexity behind the scenes to do what it does in an efficient, performant way. It's very surprising that it has little-to-no impact on framerate, and I'm sure a lot of work went into that. (For all the money Mojang has made on the game, it kind of puts them to shame that people like you are implementing stuff like this in your spare time, for free!)
