Description of the Bug
entities and block entities stop working in the loaded chunks while the player is in another dimension, farms such as iron farms stop working while you are in another dimension, just like block entities such as furnaces or brewing stands

It is a problem with the current version (1.20.4, 1.20.3), previous versions still work correctly.
If you want the entities and block entities to work when they are in another dimension, use version 1.20.2.

Are you using any other mods? If so, could you narrow down which other mods are needed to reproduce the issue?
