When a player with Elytra reaches the border their wings get reset and they fall to their death. This mainly happens on players spamming rockets on our nether roof, our solution was to enable wrapping but uhh that hasnt worked out either... #96.

upping the render of the particals was not a sufficient solution either, based on average player reaction time we found it would need to be a minimum of 64 if not 128 block render. Which reaches particle limits, packet limits and performance issues on low end machines

Apologies for the slow reply, but is this still an issue? Can you provide details such as Minecraft version, server version, platform, and ChunkyBorder version?

Generally speaking, as far as I've tested this, you should be "bounced back" into the border with elytra still open, it can be a bit jarring but won't kill the player.
