My CPU when pre generating chunks in the background got to 100% usage and 101°C which is not good for the CPU so I would like a config option to limit the CPU usage so it doesn't overheat my CPU.

In your case, I would also suggest cooling your CPU properly so that your PC doesn't light on fire. Chunky is by far the least of your concerns, considering it typically doesn't even fully utilize the CPU to begin with, other games and software may not be configurable and are likely to cause you much bigger problems. Just some words of advice.

Good to know. It is true that world generation is somewhat intensive, however this overheating problem is still unique to you and your system.
