From my understanding, you have decided against making 1.21.2-3 CIT because of issues with injecting models.

Is there any chance for "lite" version that just has the hooks for 2d textures?

I've checked basically everything and currently Optifine is only way to have working item count dependent textures in 1.21.3 - It'd be great if you could release such stripped down version. (I want mostly vanilla stuff anyway so don't really want 3d models and such...)

this would be great, ive just gotten into texture pack making and i use fabric 90% of the time on the latest versions
currently on 1.21.4
