It's pretty niche, but after terraforming a beach into a plains I realized it's kinda annoying. Since placing a block and paving are both tied to right click, placing mass amounts of dirt/grass/podzil frequently end up in you accidentally paving dirt into a path instead of placing more dirt, which means you have to break the block or place one on top of it to get it back to dirt, meaning you either break it slower without a shovel or you lose 2 durability on your shovel.
