Apotheosis adds an Affix/Suffix which modifies Step Height, however, having the "Disable Step Assist" setting does not seem to disable step assist. Meaning you do in fact walk up single blocks.

I then attempted to use Artifact's "Running Shoes" and they also allow for Step Assist.
