When you pipe air into a sealed room it can escape through other sealed pipes.

Pipe A:

Pipe B:

Room:

Pipe A is off and pipe B is on but pipe B is pumping outside the room through pipe A.

Without giving too much away, I'm actually redesigning the air piping system in a way that inherently solves this issue. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, though.
